This is a Greek-style pizza with tzatziki sauce. So good, you’ll feel like you’re sitting by the Mediterranean. Yamas!

Note: The great thing about making your own pizza is that the bare crust is just like a blank canvas. Let your inner Rembrandt have his way, and use the following ingredients in the amounts that taste right to you.

Ingredients:

    For tzatziki sauce:

    • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 Tablespoon vinegar
    • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
    • 1 cup Greek yogurt
    • 1 cup sour cream

    For pizza:

    • 1 Rustic Crust Ciabatta Crust
    • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
    • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 cup quartered cherry tomatoes
    • ½ whole cucumber, seeded and diced
    • ½ cup pitted Kalamata olives, sliced
    • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
    • ¾ cup tzatziki sauce (recipe below)

    Directions:

    For tzatziki sauce:

    1. Combine olive oil, vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
    2. Using a whisk, blend the yogurt with the sour cream.
    3. Add the olive oil mixture to the yogurt mixture and mix well.
    4. Add the cucumber and chopped fresh dill.
    5. Chill at least two hours before serving.

    For pizza:

    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    2. Using a brush, coat one side of crust with olive oil.
    3. Spread mozzarella over crust. Don’t be shy with the cheese!
    4. Spread red onions, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    5. Put in oven for 7-8 minutes until cheese is melted and browned.
    6. Remove and cut.
    7. Add diced cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.
